The New NBCUniversal Logo

Its been a few week from now that the NBCUniversal has launched its new corporate logo. The new logo is an expression of the organization once after being taken over by Comcast. This occasion is put into the record of the organization as an eventful happening.
The new logo apparently does not contain the most famous peacock element on its logo design unit. The revamped logo is a new illumination, composed solely in a purple background with letters written in white.
The organization was found in the year 1994 as “NBCUniversal” as one of the most renowned conglomeration between NBC and Universal. The earlier NBCUniversal logo contained small caps type divided by a peacock (NBC) and surrounded by a globe (Universal). The elimination of these identifiable elements from the new logo has made quite a stir inside the logo designers’ community and beyond.
NBCUniversal is now a brand encompassing a large array of smaller brands. At present, the organization owns around 41 companies, out of which only 14 of them are associated with the NBC and Universal brands. Therefore, it is rational for the corporate brand to be unbiased even while composing its logo design.
